Bombardment of Libau

As 1915 opened on the Eastern Front, the German army offensive swept forward and quickly passed the southernmost Russian Baltic port of Liepāja (Libau in German). This was the only Russian port far enough South to be ice-free all year round, and the Tsar had spent quite a bit of time and money fortifying it.
